Party #1 - Family Night
Tonight, I made M his favorite dinner, macaroni and cheese. Since it was his birthday, I jazzed up a homemade version...and...he refused to eat it. I should have known better. I also think he was fixated on the fact that after dinner came the birthday cake. So, let's get to it.
He blew out all his candles on the first try...with very little spit!
M picked out his own cake and ice cream...chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and chocolate ice cream. Chocolate, anyone??
When he couldn't spoon any more ice cream out of the bowl, this was his solution. Nice!
New toys! Look at the concentration on that face.
Nice hat! & I think these walkie-talkies might just come in handy around here!
Obviously, quite a tiring evening for E.
He did manage to play with all his new things, including trying on the clothes, throughout the evening.
& to top it off, new "SUPER BOOTS"!

Da Bears
Much to his wife's dismay, Andrew has officially joined the ranks of a Chicago Bears Superfan. He has aligned himself with the likes of Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live with a Mike Ditka mustache.
He surprised me by shaving off his beard, only to leave the mustache! He vows to keep it until the Bears lose in the playoffs. Apparently, their last two games don't count. Whatever... Now, I like the Bears and want them to win, but I HATE THIS MUSTACHE. What is a girl to do?
At least I won't suffer alone with this. Gabe, Grace Ann's husband for our readers who don't know, is now on a mission to torture her with a Andy Reed mustache. He is the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Help me...
