First Day of School 2016

moving into summer

Here we are. The last day of the school year in 2016. Despite our reservations at the beginning of the year, Morgan's teacher, Ms. Blossom, ended up being a real gift. She was unpredictable and sporadic, but she took the time to know Morgan and they ended up being peas in a pod by the end of the year.

To say Ellis had an awesome year in kindergarten would be a massive understatement. Between the friends he made and his loving and enthusiastic teacher, he has developed a real love for school. Mrs. Mitchell created an environment of community and acceptance and FUN in her classroom. She set high, but attainable, goals for this guy and he thrived. We're really going to miss seeing her everyday this summer...myself included.

Step Up 2015

Dance for an hour to raise tons of money for your school. It's King Arts one and only fundraiser each year, so we went all out and had amazing fun. Ellis danced non-stop while Morgan worked on new moves with his buddies. In between, all eyes were on the dancers popping, locking, and breaking...
