Standing on at least 18 inches of snow, sat our little snowguy. We finally got to put our pieces to good use and he did turn out pretty cute. Good building, gentlemen!

Winter is wearing hard on all of us. Sadly, it doesn't look like it will be letting up anytime soon.

snow storm in...March??

The date on this post IS correct. It snowed upwards of 10 inches on the 24th of March! We were on our way to Anderson for Spring Break...again, that IS correct...so we stopped off in Lafayette for some fun with Gabe, Bobbie and the boys. The hills and mass amounts of heavy, wet snow did not disappoint.

The snow was so wet, that it rolled up like a carpet. Huge, huge snowballs!

E made his own little snowballs while the big boys made the huge ones.

But everyone got to play when it got so heavy they couldn't roll it any further.

Grandma & Grandpa have a pretty sweet hill on their property and it's perfect for sledding. Jason and his sweet little miss joined us for some fun in the snow. 

E was apprehensive, as is his usual, but he eventually warmed up to the idea if he could be with M...also his usual.

M went for it. & Grandpa was always willing to help get him back up for another round.

of course, there was hot chocolate...of course.
