Q & U got married...

...formal wear was required. I decided to go all out hipster with M. Upon seeing these pictures, I fear that I may have crossed the fine line into nerdy. I'm positive that someday he'll ask why his pants are pulled up so high in this picture. To which I will reply, "But don't you look so handsome!"

an epic battle

Batman & Superman team up to battle Bane!

At times things were tense...

...weapons were drawn...

...power rays were shot.

In the end, daddy, I mean Bane, didn't stand a chance.

Maybe next time, Bane.

100 days!

On the first day of school (September), I picked up M to hear about the 100 day party they are going to have on their 100th day of school (February). I've heard of it at least twice a week since then, and I'm happy to report that today is the day. M is finally 100 days into the school year, and yes, there is going to be a party!! All the kids were asked to bring in 100 of something...small somethings. M chose googly eyes and Mommy needed to make it special.

batman was here

A couple weeks ago, M was invited to a friend's super hero birthday. Shortly after that, he informed me that he would dress up as Batman WITH a cape but the bat symbol will be on his shirt...NOT the cape. You gotta love a kid who knows what he wants, right? Well, we didn't have this kind of dress up at our house, so this mommy heard, "Please make me a Batman shirt AND a cape...with no symbol."

 done!

a happy Batman.

all football...all the time

This wouldn't seem out of the ordinary with a house full of boys, but I had to share because of the football outfit M put together. It has been his Sunday uniform.

bears hat - helmet
tennis shoes - cleats
no pants - well, if you didn't know by now...M doesn't like to wear them.
tube socks - who knows...but adorable and SO boy!
brother - receiver

Time to Create

M got lots of greatly needed art supplies for his birthday, so today, we put them to work. Watercolors were our medium of choice.

Sshhhh...the artist is at work.

Water, paint, paper!!

What really surprised me was seeing how wonderful his pieces turned out. As you would expect, he has no design plan...he just paints. His goal was seemingly to cover every square inch of the paper. When the paper dried, it was beautiful. I can't say the same for the well planned pieces of my own. Ahhh...the teacher becomes the student today!

Oh, now he wears the hat.

Budding Ar-tist

We got a new toy today. Morgan is loving it.

That's right, he predominately uses his left hand.
Or should I say, that's correct.
