typewriter
So this is the typewriter I used to dig out of the hall closet when I was a kid. Andrew found an appropriate ribbon and we were in business.
Everyone likes the sound of a real typewriter...

time with E
Summer is fast approaching...like tomorrow is the last day of school...and while I'm scrambling to get a list of activities ready, I'm also realizing that I'll soon be losing E to M. To say that E adores his big brother would be the understatement of the day so having M home with him all day everyday will certainly change our dynamic. We spent this morning riding bikes, having cookies and just hanging with some ducks while I tried to soak up the last moments of just having E for a while.

some little things
from the little man.
The bubble umbrella. If he thinks the concrete is even the slightest bit damp, it must be brought outside. Though maybe it's a good idea since he is so sweet he may melt.

Q & U got married...
...formal wear was required. I decided to go all out hipster with M. Upon seeing these pictures, I fear that I may have crossed the fine line into nerdy. I'm positive that someday he'll ask why his pants are pulled up so high in this picture. To which I will reply, "But don't you look so handsome!"

today was a good day
First there was this...
Yeah, I'll take that any time.
Then, there was this face that got off the bus.
Totally, NOT what I sent him to school in and now I know exactly what the stain on his shoes is from. Look at that smile though. They tie dyed those shirts with their 3rd grade buddies and this little hippie did a great job. & so proud of his work.
