ice cream and sharks teeth

First stop today was the Jetty's for a beach dog and some ice cream. Beautiful blue skies provided the perfect backdrop. Auntie Dana, Uncle Brad and Grams joined us for the fun.

Then, we hit the beach to find sharks teeth. M was particularly excited about this. So excited that Andrew and I were a bit worried about him being disappointed if we didn't find any. To avoid that, we stopped off at a gift shop and got a bag of sharks teeth to supplement if we should need it. I'm happy to say we did not. The hunt turned out to be really fun and we found some beauties!

This activity will only get more fun as the boys get older so we'll definitely be making time to do this every time we visit.

Big Cat Habitat

More animals made it in the vacation plans today! This time we drove out to the Big Cat Habitat where they rescue and take care of a large variety of wild animals. M started of this adventure by feeding a bear a sausage. This bear was trained, of course, and loved to wave at his adoring fans!

M then got a ride from Uncle Brad. ...ya know, so he could see better...

I think E's favorite part was feeding the pygmy goats. He could have stayed there all day. They were cute.

& he got to hold one...just his size!

There was so much to see and what a great thing a place like this is doing to help these large...large animals.

Lastly, there was a show. Pictures didn't come out in there...but there were lemurs, crazy chimpanzees, acrobats, and of course, BIG CATS!

Admist all the chaos of the wedding rehearsal...those rings were safe. All thanks to these guys.

this picture makes me laugh. Andrew ended up with all the kids in Wal-Mart. Two IN the cart, one pushing it, and one walking away... Sorry, Andrew.
